Creative Therapy Groups and Workshops

Lawrence Creative Therapy Center LLC:  Wellness Services-Groups and Workshops

Enrollment: Enroll for each group or workshop following the specific instructions in the group description.  * Note* Participants will need to complete enrollment information with their group leader prior to attendance if indicated in the group description.  Some groups may be eligible for insurance reimbursement.  20% discount for enrollment in monthly membership or booking a full series of groups.   Check the group descriptions for details. 

 

In select groups/workshops one scholarship slot is available for those who can demonstrate financial hardship (3 month limit for ongoing groups).  Scholarship rates will be at a 90% discount.  Contact lawrencecreativetherapy@proton.me or 785-424-7410 to apply.

 

Cancelations:  Notifications for cancelations of services will be sent by email or text message and posted on the website. 

 

Refunds:  Refunds for groups, workshops, or services will be provided if the customer contacts the Lawrence Creative Therapy Center at least 48 hrs prior the event to cancel their enrollment.    Refunds will not be provided for people who do not request a refund or attend events with no prior notice.  

 

Monthly Memberships or Packaged Enrollment Discounts:   Monthly memberships can be cancelled at any time.  Missed groups/workshops for monthly memberships will not be refunded.   Log in to the Lawrence Creative Therapy Center website to manage memberships.

 

Participation information:  Terms, Conditions, and Privacy Policies

 

Participants in creative arts or music activities at the Lawrence Creative Therapy Center and will assume any risk if self/child is injured as a result of the activities or purposes hereby consented to. All facilitators leading the group or activity are professionally trained and credentialed in creative therapies. However, Participants are informed that the identified group or workshop is intended as a wellness activity and is not considered psychotherapy or include assessment or diagnosis of mental health conditions. Participation in the event may include activities such activities: use of art materials, movement, play, use of musical instruments, discussions about wellness topics or self-reflection.

 

The Lawrence Creative Therapy Center approach’s all wellness relationships with respect and collaboration in the development of goals and processes and view each individual as the expert of their experience. We encourage each person to speak up if any elements of the process feel uncomfortable or if our work is not fitting with a person’s needs.

 

All members of groups and workshops are asked uphold confidentiality and refrain from discussing the content from the group activity or information shared by others outside of the group setting. If a participant has concerns about a group process or a fellow group member they are asked to speak with the therapist leading the group. Members who are not upholding the privacy of the group will be asked to leave the group. Group facilitators will do their best to ensure privacy is maintained but cannot guarantee that all participants of the group will uphold confidentiality practices.  The Lawrence Creative Therapy Center maintains the privacy of all participants and will not release information without consent.

For information about individual therapy services please contact your individual provider. Affiliated creative therapy providers are not employed by the Lawrence Creative Therapy

Center and each operate their own independent practices and businesses within the center.
