Group/Workshop Description
Creative Community is an art therapy open studio. Come and enjoy time to create, connect with others, utilize art making for self-care, relaxation or fun. This group is led by art therapy graduate student Lila Entwistle. She will provide guidance in art making of your choice, demonstrate new art processes and techniques, and shared insights in using art making for wellness. Enrollment Information: Participants must complete an online registration prior to first attending the group. Subsequent attendance can be on a drop-in basis. All ages are welcome. Children under the age of 16 are required attend with a parent or adult, unless alternate plans are approved. Contact Cara Weeks Neuburger (785-424-7410) to make special attendance arrangements. Cost: This group is a "Pay What You Can" service. Contributions will be utilized to support the purchase of art supplies and administrative tasks for the ongoing operation of the group. Additional Information: Creative Community group is led by graduate students completing a masters level education in art therapy. However, this group is intended as a wellness activity and is not considered psychotherapy or include assessment or diagnosis of mental health conditions. Participation in the group may include activities such as: use of art materials, movement, play, use of musical instruments, discussions about wellness topics or self-reflection.


Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule please call 48 hours in advance. Fees will not be refunded for late cancellations. Missed groups/workshops for monthly memberships will not be refunded.
