Process Painting Therapy (teens)

Group/Workshop Description

This process painting group is designed to help individuals recognize their potential for emotional growth. Each step of this process is tailored to open the door for symbolic communication and visually express emotional release. The goal of this group is to complete a piece where each layer represents and holds the creators responsible for their reactions and responses to changes on the canvas. Each step on the canvas ultimately translates into conversations about the daily situations where change can occur. Led By Tina Brackman, LCPC, Art Therapist 8 weeks, Wednesdays 2:00-3:30pm, starting June 3rd Closed group, members must start the first week and continue through the 8 week process. Cost: $45 per 90 min group, or save 20% when you enroll in a monthly membership. * Note* Participants will need to complete enrollment information with their group leader prior to attendance. One scholarship slot is available in each group at the LCTC for those who can demonstrate financial hardship (3 month limit for ongoing groups). Scholarship rates will be at a 90% discount.
