Creative Expressions Studio Art (Adults)

Group/Workshop Description

Creative Expressions is a 90 minute group for adults, providing a supportive nonjudgemental space for engaging in art making and self- expression as source hope, healing, exploration, and wellness. The group will provide introductions to diverse art therapy activities as well as open art making time for pursuing your own creative path. This group is Facilitated by Jason Sanders, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, with a Masters in Art Therapy, and 20 years of experience as a therapist. The group combines self-directed, open-studio time with directives and projects ideas offered by the facilitator. The group will explore a variety of media and approaches to art making. All levels of art experience are welcome as the main focus of this group encourages utilizing the art making process as an alternative form of self-expression and navigating life. Date: Fridays 2:00-3:30 (Starting June 5th, 2026, with ongoing enrollment) Cost: $45 per 90 min group, or save 20% when you enroll in a monthly membership. * Note* Participants will need to complete enrollment information with their group leader prior to attendance. One scholarship slot is available in each group at the LCTC for those who can demonstrate financial hardship (3 month limit for ongoing groups). Scholarship rates will be at a 90% discount.
