Group/Workshop Description
Artist Trading Cards Workshop: Do you seldom have time to create art, let alone set up a creative workspace? Have you begun projects only to realize it's challenging to complete them? Creating Artist Trading Cards is low stress way to create and complete art in one sitting. The cards are 2 1/2 by 3 1/2, similar to playing cards, and provide a small "canvas" to explore various media such as collage, drawing, painting, fabric, mixed media etc. Creating Artist Trading Cards takes minimal supplies, minimal time, and minimal space. They provide an opportunity to recycle and repurpose junk mail, fabric, and maybe even parts of unfinished art projects. The cards are compact, portable, low stress, and making them can potentially cultivate a pattern of taking time out of your busy day to create! This group is led by Jason Sanders, Art Therapist and Professional Counselor. Two session dates: Friday Sept. 18, 1:30-3:00 and Friday Sept. 25, 1:30-3:00. Join for one session ($35) or both ($60). To cancel or reschedule please call 48 hours in advance. Fees will not be refunded for late cancellations. Missed groups/workshops for monthly memberships will not be refunded.
